In 2007, Strictly Come Dancing kicked off with 14 contestants all warming up for their first showdown on the ballroom floor. For the women: Dynasty, actress Stephanie Beacham; TV presenter, model and actress Kelly Broo; ex EastEnders actress Letitia Dean; Mis-Teeq singer and songwriter Alesha Dixon; GMTV's Kate Garraway; model Penny Lancaster-Stewart and finally, sports presenter Gabby Logan.
For the men: former England and Liverpool footballer John Barnes; Grange Hill and Coronation Street actor Brian Capron; former snooker champion Willie Thorne; ex EastEnder Matt Di Angelo; former Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones; TV presenter Dominic Littlewood and former Scottish international rugby player Kenny Logan, husband of Gabby Logan.
