In 2007, Strictly Come Dancing kicked off with 14 contestants all warming up for their first showdown on the ballroom floor. For the women: Dynasty, actress Stephanie Beacham; TV presenter, model and actress Kelly Broo; ex EastEnders actress Letitia Dean; Mis-Teeq singer and songwriter Alesha Dixon; GMTV's Kate Garraway; model Penny Lancaster-Stewart and finally, sports presenter Gabby Logan.

For the men: former England and Liverpool footballer John Barnes; Grange Hill and Coronation Street actor Brian Capron; former snooker champion Willie Thorne; ex EastEnder Matt Di Angelo; former Blue Peter presenter Gethin Jones; TV presenter Dominic Littlewood and former Scottish international rugby player Kenny Logan, husband of Gabby Logan. This marked the first Strictly Come Dancing husband and wife battle. Fun and games, eh? We take a closer look at Strictly Come Dancing's 2007 contestants in our gallery below.
