Ali Bastian had to force her black foot into a shoe to dance on Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night, dancer Darren Bennett has revealed.
Darren, whose partner Lynda Bellingham has already been voted off the show, said Ali's heroic performance this weekend deserved to keep her in the competition.
He said: "How she danced at all was a miracle, her whole foot was completely black."
He added: "A lot of people say they are faking an injury but I guarantee you the foot was black and she had to force her foot into that shoe.
"Then she had to do a dance off which was even worse but injuries are just part of it all."
Fellow dancer Lilia Kopylova added: "I'm glad she's through and gets another chance but she couldn't do anything else - she had to dance."
This week, head judge Len Goodman poked fun at the amount of make-up Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli wear for the show.
And Lilia agreed, joking: "I'm sure their make up bags are bigger than mine."

Strictly Come Dancing FashionIrrespective of who takes part in Strictly Come Dancing, one could argue that the clothes are just as big an ingredient as the stars and the dance steps. Sequinned, short, feathery, colourful - the Strictly costume department has its hands full making sure all the stars dazzle week after week. Take a look back at some of the fashion over the years: the good, the bad and the utterly ridiculous.
Strictly The Bitchiest!"Arlene is a Sharon Osbourne wannabe, but without The X-Factor judge's looks, brains, humour or humility," so said Carol Vorderman about Arlene Phillips back in 2004. Ooooh! The claws were out. But then, that's Strictly.
The Rise and Rise of AleshaSinger Alesha Dixon will replace Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips when the show returns this autumn, the BBC has confirmed. The 66-year-old choreographer has been axed.
