Ray Quinn's Dancing On Ice battle

Ray Quinn has said he will battle hard to be named champion in the Dancing On Ice final.

The X Factor runner-up will go up against Liberty X star Jessica Taylor and investigative journalist Donal MacIntyre in the live competition and bookies favourite Ray will not be taking anything for granted.

He said: "Jess is a fantastic skater, she's so technical and Donal has come so far from the beginning. He couldn't even walk on the ice and now he's choreographing to Bolero, you know it is actually crazy. So you know anything can happen, no matter what happens this competition is wide open and I have just got to go out there and fight for it and give it everything that I've got."

Ray added that if he scoops the top prize he will celebrate with a big bottle of bubbly.

"I think I will just celebrate with a bottle of champagne maybe and just shake it like the Formula 1 race drivers do," he laughed. "It would completely blow me away, I would probably go white, I may even faint - it would be completely unbelievable."
