Basildon geezer Brian entered the Big Brother House alongside three other male housemates: Jonathan, Billi and Liam. He made an impression straight away and quickly emerged as a popular housemate with both contestants and the public.

His shock victory over twins Amanda and Sam was, he said, the best day of his life. He also said he couldn't wait to go and buy some cider. The 20-year-old, who burst into tears when his name was announced, left the house to explosions of fireworks and rapturous cheers after winning 60.3 per cent of the vote.
