Brian wins Big Brother

Brian Belo has won Big Brother in an emotional finale which saw twins Amanda and Sam coming second.

The 20-year-old Essex boy and massive Big Brother fan had tears streaming down his face when his name was announced and said "Oh my days! Oh my days! I don't deserve to win."

He left the house to explosions of fireworks and ticker tape and crouched on the stairway momentarily to take it all in.

Before leaving, the data entry clerk had poked his head around the checkered front door and whispered "miss you" to the empty house.

Earlier, the 19-year-old student twins had left the house to high-pitched screams from the audience, matched almost by their own as they spotted friends and family in the crowd.

As they walked up the stairs, after telling Brian to "enjoy every single minute of it", Amanda said: "I'm so happy for him".

Brian's win came as something of a surprise after bookies had tipped the twins as the 1/5 favourites.
