David said he was "happy, happy, happy" to have come third in Big Brother 10.

The flamboyant fashion lover told Davina he did not expect to be in the final,

"I came in half way so didn't think I had a chance... I'm so happy, happy, happy, happy," he said.

Now out the house, he is hoping to meet up with his heroine Vivienne Westwood. He made no secret of his admiration for the clothes designer, so it was up to Big Brother to make David's birthday by delivering the letter to house. David said it was his best birthday so far, and vowed to get a tattoo done of her signature (he already has one of her on his neck.)

He told Davina that he hoped he would meet her now, saying: "When I meet her, I'm going to give her the biggest kiss I've ever given anyone."

He was also pleased to find out that he had a celebrity fan in the form of Robbie Williams, and after asking Davina if he had come out, only for Davina to inform him that the singer had not, he said: "We'll turn him! Not a problem."

But he was most delighted to see Lisa, who he had been the closest to in the house.

The two of them spent hours chatting while smoking at the 'bus stop' although their strong bond caused a divide in the house towards the end as the remaining housemates felt they were ganging up against them.

Defending Lisa to Davina, David said: "She's just a strong woman, she's the strongest woman I've ever met in my life."

He said it was hard for him in the house after she had gone.

"When I had a birthday party without her I was devastated. She was my rock all the way through and will be all the way through my life, because with me and friendships it's all or nothing. If I was a woman she'd be with me."

David also annoyed Lisa by saying 'nanu nanu' to her, reminding her of a former task. His venture into London with Lisa as part of the 'future' task was a first for the show. The two had to get their photos taken by various monuments in London, albeit dressed in furry aliens, and returned to the house revived by their afternoon of freedom.

The other notable task for David was the Single Ladies challenge, when he dressed up as Beyonce and shook his booty to the song in a camp recreation of the video.
