Rodrigo: I'm happy to be accepted

Rodrigo said he didn't mind not winning Big Brother, saying instead that he was just happy to have been accepted by the British public.
The Brazilian student was asked by Davina whether he was frustrated to have got to the final and not to have won, but he said: "No, definitely not."
He continued: "The most important thing when I came to this country, I was not expecting to be in this show and now I realise you have accepted me as part of the country and I'm really happy."
Rodrigo was even sporting a Union Jack belt and told Davina how much he loved the UK. When he was shown a video from his family in Brazil, he looked emotional but still reiterated how much he liked his adopted country.
"I love this country, I feel I'm British," he said.
The housemate was vocal of his love for all things British while he was in the house. He loves the Queen more than anything, and told the housemates it was his ambition to meet her.
After he wrote a letter to Buckingham Palace, Big Brother played a trick on him by sending in a lookalike. To pass the task, Rodrigo had to believe she was the Queen, and the other housemates had to tell him it was the real Queen. When he found out, he stayed cheery and was delighted to receive a real letter from the Palace.
His enthusiasm for the Queen was nearly matched by his friendship with Charlie. The two got on very well, but were either as thick as thieves or at each other's throats.
Rodrigo was particularly creative with his practical jokes he played on Charlie, but the jokes got nasty at points. A low point was pouring oil all over Charlie's bed while in one of his typical tantrums. The tantrums would usually end with Rodrigo saying 'how dare you?!' and 'don't ever speak to me again' or his catchphrase 'you shut up!'.
But the two were also filmed kissing under the duvet and in the pool, although Rodrigo insisted to Davina that the two were just friends.
Asked if he loved Charlie, Rodrigo said: "No. We are just friends. We love one another, hate one another - it's a friendship. I like him, we are very good friends and we have similar personalities."
Rodrigo also got on very well with Sophie and the two shared a memorable challenge during the 'future' shopping task when they had to copy a viral robot dance to a Daft Punk song.
