Celebrity hijacker Kate Lawler has revealed she thinks the housemates are far too obsessed with how they are perceived on the outside world.
The radio DJ, who was the first female winner of Big Brother in 2002, said times have changed since her days in the house.
Kate said: "We weren't really obsessed with how the public would see us. Nowadays people in the house obsess about it so much it seems to affect their behaviour whilst they are in there. Everyone is so worried about how they will be perceived."
She added: "I heard Anthony say 'I hope Kate doesn't think that something went on with me and Calista' and I thought 'Why are you thinking so much? Just have a good time and stop worrying!'"
Kate gave all the housemates tips on how to survive their last few days in the BB house - as well as what to expect when they leave.
She also set them a task of imitating one of their fellow housemates - complete with wigs and clothes - which they passed and gave them a hip hop party.
