Flight Of The Conchords finished?

Jemaine Clement has hinted that Flight Of The Conchords may not return for a third series.

Jemaine - who stars in the offbeat New Zealand comedy about two band members trying to make it big - told Reuters that he needed to discuss the show's future with co-star Bret McKenzie and director James Bobin, adding it "very likely might not" return.

But he went on: "It could come back in a shorter season or like a special."

Jemaine said he and Bret found the workload of acting in the show as well as writing music difficult.

"We've got to write the series, but we've also got to write the songs, and just dividing your time into those two writing tasks is really tricky," he admitted.

But HBO, the channel which broadcasts the show in the US, are keen for the boys to sign up.

"We've left their future entirely in their hands," said a spokeswoman. "We would love to have more, and we left an open door at HBO."
