Former Coronation Street star Danny Young has reportedly signed up for the next series of Dancing On Ice.

The actor, whose last appearance as Mike Baldwin's footballer grandson Warren was in 2006, has been rehearsing with some of the other celebrities set to take part, The Sun reports.

Danny, 23, used to date ex-Coronation Street actress Nikki Sanderson (Candice Stowe), but the couple announced their split in February of this year.

Departing EastEnders star Danniella Westbrook, 35, who plays Sam Mitchell in the soap, is also reportedly due to appear in Dancing On Ice.

According to the newspaper, she went to a practice session with legendary skater Jayne Torvill, along with ex-Eternal singer Kelle Bryan, 34, former Holby City actor Jeremy Sheffield, 43, singer Sinitta, 41, Paul McCartney's ex Heather Mills, 41, and Gordon Ramsay's wife Tana, 36.

Other stars who are said to be taking part are ex-England goalkeeper Peter Shilton, 60, and The Inbetweeners actress Emily Atack, 19.

A spokeswoman for Dancing On Ice declined to comment on any speculation about the line-up at this stage.
