Inside Soap Awards 2009

Once again, EastEnders was the big winner at the Inside Soap awards. It's a familiar story. The BBC show won seven of the 14 awards handed at London's fashionable Sketch restaurant.

For the fourth consecutive year Lacey Turner won Best Actress for her role as Enders' Stacey Branning. But it wasn't all Enders - Coronation Street's five awards included Best Actor for Gray O'Brien who plays twisted Tony Gordon.

EastEnders' John Partridge, who plays openly gay Christian Clarke, was named Sexiest Male, while Michelle Keegan (Coronation Street's feisty Tina McIntyre) triumphed in the Sexiest Female category.
