Memorable TV Interviews

President Obama (Image © PA)

Barack Obama is the first serving American president to appear on the Late Show With David Letterman. The popular programme attracts some of the biggest names in show business.

The President talked about his healthcare reform plans and made light of a question relating to whether his opponents are racist. "First of all I think it's important to realise that I was actually black before the election," he joked to laughter and applause.

It's a water cooler moment worthy of inclusion in our gallery of memorable TV interviews. You'll also find Kerry Katona's shambolic 2008 appearance on This Morning, Martin Bashir's landmark 1995 interview with Princess Diana and late footballer George Best's drunken appearance on the BBC's Wogan in 1990. How many do you remember?
