TV Guilty Pleasures

David Hasselhoff (Image © Image.net/UKTV)

Check out the TV schedules in an average week and there will be a wide variety of programming. In addition to the worthy, there is also room for what can only be called 'guilty pleasures'.

The shows that fall into this category (Baywatch, for example) give us a good feeling, even if we suspect we shouldn't enjoy them as much as we do. In the most extreme of cases, we may even feel compelled to hide our love for said programme.

Newsreader Jon Snow once admitted a weakness for MTV, mainly due to his daughters. Doctor Who maestro Russell T Davies loves Children's BBC and Channel 4's Krishnan Guru-Murthy revealed that Stars In Their Eyes is a favourite indulgence. In our gallery, we take a look at more TV guilty pleasures - the lame, the cheesy and the downright trashy.
