Marina And The Diamonds: 'It was tough to record because I missed gigging'

Marina And The Diamonds has told NME.COM that recording her debut album took longer than expected because she missed being onstage.

The singer, who headlines the first NME Radar Live tonight (November 3) at the Relentless Garage in London, said she found it difficult to record 'The Family Jewels' at times.

"There was a point where I was hating being in the studio not focusing at all," admitted Marina Diamandis of the record which was completed last week. "I was all over the place, being a total prat. I'm surprised my producer didn't hit me!"
