Pete Doherty, Suggs, Small Faces London lyrics immortalised on mugs
Pete Doherty, The Small Faces and Madness singer Suggs are among the musicians whose lyrics have been selected to appear on special edition mugs from Transport For London (TFL).
A range of mugs and T-shirts featuring lyrics relating to London and stations have been put on sale at Shop.tfl.gov.uk.
Pete Doherty has two of his songs featured in the collection - Babyshambles' 'Albion' (mug pictured) and The Libertines' 'The Boy Looked At Johnny'.
Other songs featured include 'Camden Town' by Madness singer Suggs, Eddy Grant's 'Electric Avenue' and The Small Faces' 'Itchycoo Park'.
Somewhat ironically, the video for The Libertines' 2002 single 'Time For Heroes' shows both Doherty and then-bandmate Carl Barat jumping over the ticket barriers - seemingly without having bought tickets - at a foreign underground station.
TFL is the body that runs the majority of the public transport system in London including buses, tubes and trains.
