Welsh soul sensation Duffy thanked the British public for their support as she triumphed at the BRIT Awards in London's Earls Court.
The smoky-voiced siren took three top awards as she won Best Album, Best British Female Solo Artist and Best Breakthrough Act.
The 24-year-old singer-songwriter's fortunes contrasted with those of Coldplay, who walked away empty-handed despite also being nominated for four awards.
