Hollywood is gearing up for a summer of blockbusters. In the next few months, your local multiplex will be a celluloid battleground as Star Trek dukes it out with Transformers, Harry Potter takes on Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds and Wolverine scraps with  Michael Mann’s gangster epic Public Enemies.

But which of these mega-budget spectaculars will be getting your crisply laundered tenners? You could wait for the reviews and the box office receipts. Hell, you could go and see all of them. Or, you could do what we’ve done: construct an entirely imaginary blockbuster deathmatch arena and see which movie’s heroes come out on top. Ladies and gentlemen, let the games begin...
