The main event at The Cannes Film Festival this year is Inglourious Basterds. Hang on... isn't that spelt wrong?
"It's not a typo!" director Quentin Tarantino stated at the premiere. "I'm never going to explain that. You do an artistic flourish like that, and to describe it, to explain it, would just invalidate the whole stroke in the first place."
That's sorted that then. The proof, after all, is in the watching. And a host of A-listers joined Brad Pitt and the rest of the cast on the red carpet yesterday for the Cannes premiere.
