Kirk Douglas, Robert De Niro, Emily Blunt, Colin Firth and Danny Boyle have been honoured by Bafta in Los Angeles.
Among the A-list stars in attendance were Amy Adams, Ewan McGregor and Benicio Del Toro who came along to celebrate the 18th Annual Britannia Awards.
Kirk Douglas received the Britannia Award For Worldwide Contribution To Filmed Entertainment, while Robert De Niro picked up the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award For Excellence In Film.
"I'm honoured to be honoured," Robert told reporters on the red carpet.
Colin Firth had to dash across Hollywood, straight from a special screening of his movie A Single Man at the AFI Festival, to pick up the Bafta/LA Humanitarian Award.
Emily Blunt received the Britannia Award for British Artist Of The Year.
"It means a huge amount, I'm very excited and a bit stunned that this is happening," she told reporters.
Danny Boyle received the Britannia Award For Artistic Excellence In Directing. The Oscar winner revealed he was flattered to be honoured in Hollywood: "This is the centre of the world for the film industry, if there is one, so it's very important that you work hard to make the films work here."
Hosting the evening was comedian Stephen Fry, who said the LA ceremony was a lot easier than hosting the Baftas in London.
"(In London) as the evening progresses, a larger and larger percentage of the audience gets really annoyed, by the end of the evening three quarters of the entire room are angry because they got passed over for an award. The beauty of the Britannias is that everyone knows who has won, five winners - and it's short."
