Pattinson: I'm not dating Kristen

Robert Pattinson has denied he is dating his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart.

The British actor, who plays sexy vampire Edward Cullen in the films, said the press suggest he is enjoying romantic dates with Kristen even when they are thousands of miles apart, reports People.

The 23-year-old, who will soon be seen in Twilight sequel New Moon, told Vanity Fair: "It doesn't make any difference what you say (to tabloids), I've literally been across the country (from the actress), and it's like, 'Oh, they were on secret dates' - it's like, 'Where? I can't get out of my hotel room!'."

He said he and Kristen are just "good friends".

Last month Robert revealed it's not that easy for him to get a date with anyone these days.

The actor told the Sydney Morning Herald that fans tends to think of him as his character, rather than Robert.

"Girls scream out for Edward, not Robert - I still can't get a date," he moaned.

New Moon opens on November 20.
