Box Office Magic: Harry 6 Pulls In The Crowds

Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince has had one of the most successful opening weekends in cinema history.
The sixth Potter film made over $58 million worldwide when it launched on Wednesday 15 July. Potter fans lined up outside cinemas for the first showings, ignoring the mixed reviews the new blockbuster received.
The total take will be determined when Potter 6 finishes what will be a lengthy run in cinemas, during which the film's distributor will be hoping that the Potter faithful will make multiple trips to the multiplex. But it's already making appearances in the record books, including the second-highest opening Wednesday of all time and the sixth highest five-day box-office haul.
