McCartney lawyer baptised in court?
Was Fiona Shackleton 'baptised in court'?

Sir Paul McCartney's lawyer left court with wet hair after being "baptised in court" in Heather Mills' words, it has been reported.

Solicitor Fiona Shackleton arrived at the High Court with the former Beatle on Monday morning with her blonde hair in a neat full-bodied bob.

But she was looking distinctly bedraggled when she and Sir Paul walked out after hearing Mr Justice Bennett's judgment.

Miss Mills laughingly told the BBC that the divorce lawyer had been "baptised in court" but refused to say whether she threw the water herself.

The former model has not shied away from criticising her ex-husband's lawyer. In a statement on the steps of the High Court, Miss Mills accused Ms Shackleton of handling the couple's divorce "in the worst manner you could ever, ever imagine".

BBC reporter Sophie Hutchinson said the contrast in Ms Shackleton's appearance was clear to see.

"Usually she has this rather fly-away blonde hair. But this afternoon, about 2pm, when they left, she's got this damp hair," she said.

"So the BBC called Heather Mills and we asked her what had happened. And she laughed it off. She said that Fiona Shackleton had been 'baptised in court', suggesting that perhaps she had had some water put on her head somehow.

"She also said Miss Shackleton had made unpleasant comments about Heather Mills being in a wheelchair, during the case. But Heather Mills would not say whether she threw any water herself."

Neither Ms Shackleton nor Miss Mills could be contacted for comment.

Up: MSN Review

So, it’s about an old man flying away on an adventure by attaching a huge bunch of helium balloons to his house. Even for the talented craftspeople at Pixar, who successfully brought us a near-silent film about robots last year, this seems far-fetched. We needn’t have worried though. Up is the best Pixar film since Toy Story.

Wimbledon Aces

With Wimbledon 2009 in full swing, err… serve, the top tennis players from around the world are focused entirely on their game. As they run up and down the court screaming with exertion, the rest of us non-pros can't help but judge them on something other than their passing shots; that's right, how good looking they are.
