Lindsay Lohan launched a furious rant at her father Michael after he released a secret recording of one of their personal phone conversations.

The recording, published by celebrity blog RadarOnline, reveals the Mean Girls star crying as tells her father "no one cares about me" and confesses problems with her family.

Lindsay wrote on Twitter: "My father's such a loser and those recordings are from years ago - to release personal things is foul enough, but to edit them."

She added: "I used to think that he needed the book for dummies on learning how to be a father. Haha - he needs the book for dummies on HOW TO BE A MAN."

Michael released the tape to back up his repeated claims that the 23-year-old needs help.

Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, told E! News: "Lindsay's concerned about recent actions of his. She is concerned about defamatory statements about her own personal safety and has instructed me to explore all legal options available to her to get him to stop and to leave her alone.

"She just wants me to take a look at what appears to be escalating destructive behaviour. We're trying to figure out [where the tape was recorded] right now. If it was in California, the law is very clear. You can't do that.

"Both parties have to authorise it being recorded, and there's no question Lindsay did not authorise it. If it happened here, he's in violation of the criminal law."

Up: MSN Review

So, it’s about an old man flying away on an adventure by attaching a huge bunch of helium balloons to his house. Even for the talented craftspeople at Pixar, who successfully brought us a near-silent film about robots last year, this seems far-fetched. We needn’t have worried though. Up is the best Pixar film since Toy Story.

Wimbledon Aces

With Wimbledon 2009 in full swing, err… serve, the top tennis players from around the world are focused entirely on their game. As they run up and down the court screaming with exertion, the rest of us non-pros can't help but judge them on something other than their passing shots; that's right, how good looking they are.
