Eva Mendes has revealed she has no interest in becoming a director.
The Hollywood actress produced her first film this year, the low budget Live!, but doesn't want to be at the helm of a movie.
"I would never want to direct," she says.
"I would never want to be behind the camera. I have no dreams of doing that."
However, she confesses that she sees producing as an opportunity to get good films made.
"Seriously, if there's a project out there that I feel just needs to get out, and needs to be seen, I'll be interested," she says.
"I have a few options right now and a couple of things I'm working on. But the truth is, it's got to come from the heart. It's got to be something like a story that I want out there. It's got to be driven by that. It's definitely not driven by me wanting to slap my name on something."

So, it’s about an old man flying away on an adventure by attaching a huge bunch of helium balloons to his house. Even for the talented craftspeople at Pixar, who successfully brought us a near-silent film about robots last year, this seems far-fetched. We needn’t have worried though. Up is the best Pixar film since Toy Story.
