Poor Amy. The line in her song 'but Daddy thinks I'm fine' seems to say it all. Daddy needs to tell her firmly that she's NOT fine and needs to sort herself out before she ends up dead. She's truly talented but I hate watching her go down the toilet. That silly husband she adores isn't helping either is he? If he loved her as much as she loves him, he'd try to help her.

Whether they like it or not, performers in the music industry do influence their audience.  Some copy the fashion and some take up that style of music, others like the look of the lifestyle and the ‘I don't care’ attitude. So when a performer is publicly seen to be doing themselves harm, something has to be done to show that that behaviour cannot be tolerated.

Amy Winehouse comes across as spoilt girl who has had too much money thrown at her and now wants to play at being ‘street’.  She looks a mess, sounds like a winging cat and has no truth in her voice.

Amy Winehouse is a talent that comes once every generation! Amy you need help, we don't want to lose you. Two albums are not enough to feed off until the next generation produces an artist of Amy's magnitude. What a waste of a true talent – when so many singers are called ‘legend’, ‘diva’, ‘artist’, Amy is one of a handful of this generation of stars who actually deserves all of these labels!

She is clearly depressed by the pressure of the gig circuit and the fans' expectations of her. Regular drinking is often a way to escape life's problems. Taking a break and getting help would slow her career down, but that may be the best thing for her, after all, a person’s health should be their number one priority. I hope she pulls through this difficult time, as I feel she has much more to offer once she's ready.

It's very typical nowadays to see talented people with no respect for themselves, fans or family, to go down the wrong route and expect everyone to feel sorry for them. I hope Amy ends up like all the rest of the one-year-wonders as she has no backbone or family values within her!

Amy Winehouse is a total disgrace; she should get off her pathetic backside and get herself sorted out. She looks awful and is setting no example whatsoever to her fans. She is not being cool, she is just being stupid. What a waste, she is obviously talented but too far gone to realise what she is doing or even care.

Amy Winehouse doesn't see herself as having a problem because she is in total denial, her body will eventually not be able to take any more punishment. She needs to get sober and fast, and to get away for a while with the love and support of her family. If she doesn’t address this now, I can only see her going more downhill like Pete Doherty, and nobody wants to know about him now.

I think it is a shame that she is on a self-destruct mode; her album is the best I have heard in years. I really want to go and see her in concerts but refuse to pay money to see her singing drunk. For the sake of her health and career she needs to get help and quick!

It's her life and she can do as she pleases. She is not doing this as some sort of attention or publicity seeking plot and at the end of the day she is not harming anybody, except maybe herself. Just because different people do different things to have a good time, does not make them bad in anyway, let her get on with it!
