Colleen Last - Celebrity Content Manager
Colleen Last - Celebrity Content Manager
It's fair to say that Colleen is obsessed with celebrities. Her decision to become a journalist, made as a teenager, was not motivated by a desire to change the world or highlight the plight of those less fortunate; it was so she could interview boybands and movie stars. Mission accomplished, she moved halfway across the world and into online editorial back in 1999. Colleen spent several years editing the online arms of MTV and Channel 4, before joining the MSN Entertainment team in October 2006.

What entertains me…
Keeping up with the fast-paced lives of celebrity superstars takes dedication: Colleen spends equal time being scandalised by Sienna Miller, appalled by Amy Winehouse and bothered by Britney Spears. In between all that, she enjoys catching up on episodes of 30 Rock, Mad Men and Heroes.
Lorna Cooper - TV Editor
Lorna Cooper - TV Editor
Lorna started out her career in radio, working for London's youth market, dance music station Kiss 100. While there, she produced the Max & Dave Rap Show and contributed movie features to the magazine show 'The Word', including interviews with Samuel L Jackson, Pam Grier and Sandra Bullock. After that, she moved over to Auntie Beeb to work on London's GLR (as it was then), co-presenting 'On Screen', a round-up of the best on TV and cinema.
Dallas (Image © Rex)
What entertains me…
Lorna's TV faves are any series from the 70s and 80s, and boasts her ultimate viewing pleasure as Dallas. Other shows Coops likes to put her feet up and watch entire box sets of are Cheers, Mash and Taxi.

Ed Holden – Movies Editor
Ed Holden – Movies Editor
Ed hails from the turbulent world of magazine publishing where his name has been immortalised in such titles as Total Film, DVD Review, Hotdog, Classic Rock, Metal Hammer and Total Guitar. He’s been at MSN for two years having coaxed the people at the ’soft into hiring him with techie interview chatter that included, “the internet’s like… the future.” By day he vigorously edits the movies site, by night he searches for hats that can fit his disproportionately large head. All the time in between is spent film watching.
The Big Lebowski (Image © Universal)
What entertains me...
Ed’s film taste varies wildly and sometimes irrationally. He watches Point Break and White Men Can’t Jump tirelessly. He loves the Rocky movies and rates The Big Lebowski as "perhaps the greatest thing ever". There are some shameful gaps in his film knowledge including the 70s and most of the decades before them. He's too cowardly to watch anything with a lot of blood in it.

James Hurley - Music Editor
James Hurley - Music Editor
Born with a rare condition leaving him permanently looking upwards and to the right, James refuses to allow his affliction to ruin his life. Hypnotherapy looked like a possible solution but the 'look into my eyes' bit proved to be a frustrating experience for all concerned. Starting out in online editorial back in 1999, James then enjoyed a two-year stint writing borderline offensive email newsletters for a well-known internet travel company. In between ASA hearings, he somehow managed to win an award for this. He has been MSN's Music Editor since September 2005.
Alphabeat (Image © PA Photos)
What entertains me...
Starting out with the quasi-religious belief that no good music had been made after the year I was born (1975), my tastes have since broadened from the initial holy trinity of The Rolling Stones, The Doors, and Jimi Hendrix to encompass everything from Alphabeat to The Knife to Dragonforce. Well , maybe not Dragonforce.

Rob Jones
Rob Jones - Web Producer
After attempting various get-rich-without-much-effort schemes, including a reality TV programme with Jodi Marsh, and neglecting the realities of life by travelling the world - twice, Rob realised that he would have to get a job. His career, and life to be honest, has always revolved around sport. He’s been about a bit - professionally of course – first in radio including working for Choice FM in Ghana, and then in print and TV, before finally moving to online journalism.
Kings Of Leon (Image © PA Photos)
What entertains me...
A man who hates his own company, Rob (like a small child) has to be entertained. So what better place than the MSN Entertainment desk? Rob is a fan of anything from the Kings Of Leon rocking to drunken celebs rucking.

Mike Lok
Mike Lok - Senior Content Manager
Mike Lok is a typically confused modern male. He lives in the leafy suburbs with his wife and two beautiful daughters, but loves nothing better than a night out in the city with the boys. He takes his health seriously, but succumbs to the temptations of the local fast food emporium more often than is good for him. He’ll read Dickens, but only when he’s finished with the latest copy of Heat. His passion is all things entertainment, reality TV, music, movies, gadgets and food. With over fifteen years experience, eight of them online, Mike currently leads the Entertainment, Life & Style and Video channels on MSN.
Same Difference (Image © PA Photos)
What entertains me...
Mike's musical taste is let's say… niche! Despite being an impersonator of arguably the greatest performer of all time - Elvis - he's a self-confessed X Factor nut. This unhealthy obsession had clearly gone too far after he was spotted at a Same Difference concert!

Steven Wilson-Beales
Steven Wilson-Beales - Entertainment Content Manager
Steven started his career in Entertainment after twigging he could get strangers to send him free music in return for a few written words. He was soon on the next train to London, working freelance for various student websites before becoming a music news reporter for Universal Music. After years of interviewing rock and pop bands he then moved to the 'dark side' by covering all things dance for Ministry of Sound. He now manages the MSN Entertainment team alongside Mike Lok where he can be found listening to German techno behind a mountain of Post-It notes.
Cheryl Cole (Image © PA Photos)
What entertains me...
I currently can’t get away from…  the latest episode of Battlestar Galactica, Cheryl Cole on X Factor, anything by Santogold, or any movie with Michael Cera or Seth Rogen in. Also… Domino’s Pizzas.

Stuart Bak
Stuart Bak
Born and raised on the mean, rain-soaked streets of south-west Scotland, Stuart Bak has lived in sleepy London for the last six years. When not at home glued to the goggle box for the latest EastEnders omnibus or reality show meltdown, Stuart can be found keeping Soho’s pub landlords in business, and attending gigs by bands no-one else has ever heard of around the capital. Stuart's favourite TV show of all time is The Prisoner (a fictional Big Brother), and his least favourite thing on the box is anything with Linda Barker in it - she makes his blood boil.

Selena Ledgerton-Cooper
Selena Ledgerton-Cooper
After graduating with firsts for creative writing at university, Selena took herself, her family and her smarty pants to the nearest pub and then started her own editorial and design business. She writes for all genres but specialises in entertainment, lifestyle and celebrity features, and revels in a life of deadlines, hectic press conferences, shows and interviews. After authoring two books and working for various magazines and online, her modern style of writing brought her here to MSN where she writes for the Entertainment channel. Having built up quite a community, she's also our exclusive Reality TV Blogger covering shows such as X Factor and Big Brother, and incase you hadn't guessed... she's loving every minute of it.

Ellen Godwin
Ellen Godwin
By day, Ellen spends her time as editor of MSN Shopping, making sure the rest of the UK is kept up to date with everything from the latest fashion trends to the best deals on ice-cream makers. By night, she’s a music fascist who divides her time between co-running independent record label Holy Roar Records and moaning about music via whatever platform MSN will offer her, including the Girl Aloud blog and the Unsigned Podcast. In past lives she has worked for corporate websites, a local listings newspaper and arts magazines, trying to shoe-horn in her opinion on popular bands at any given opportunity. Her music taste might occasionally descend into unfounded and extremely biased snobbery, but having been a child of Britpop and owing it all to Jarvis Cocker, she hasn’t a leg to stand on. Personal favourites include Cat Power, My Bloody Valentine, 90s emo, shouty hardcore, men with beards playing acoustic guitars, keyboard grind, twinkly post-rock with pianos and the odd bit of garage/dubstep (taking it back to her Croydon roots).

Jean Cooper
Jean Cooper
Jean’s avid interest in every aspect of celebrity gossip and reality TV shows no sign of slowing down. Guest writer of MSN’s X Factor blog (where her true feelings for the McDoogle brothers were never in doubt) and MSN’s I’m A Celebrity… blog (where her adoration of David Gest was second only to his), Jean is either permanently perched in front of the TV or leafing through magazines. She has spent many an hour glued to Reality TV but she insists that each and every campy scream from Paul Burrell in the I'm A Celebrity jungle is her favourite reality TV moment of all time.

David Levin
David Levin
Lots of good things come from (or near) Leeds: Kaiser Chiefs, Emmerdale and the Yorkshire pudding. David comes from there too. But back in 2000, David traded in his pudding for a laptop and moved to London to write about famous people. Since then, he has gleefully documented the lives of celebs for the likes of MTV, BBC, The Guardian, and now MSN Entertainment. His band has just signed a record deal too, so hopefully he'll be writing about himself soon!
Rob Morgan
Rob Morgan
People often used to say to Rob, “you should write a column about music”. This is the bronze medal to “you should be in a band”. It means “stop talking to me about music”. “I would,” Rob would reply, “but such an idyllic job could not exist. Writing about music? All day? It’s just a silly dream – and until you make it a reality, I will continue to talk to you about this record.” Fast forward a few years and Rob still doesn’t write about music all day. That is for the blessed. He does however write a column about music as a guest writer for MSN. Those around him are grateful.
Neil Smith
Neil Smith
Neil Smith is a freelance writer and film critic who contributes regularly to Heat, First, DVD Review and the London Paper. A contributing editor at Total Film magazine, he also writes for BBC Online and has made numerous appearances on News 24, Sky News, Five Live and others. His deep and abiding love of cinema, music and the arts is only matched by a foolhardy affiliation to Fulham Football Club.
James White
James White
A chance meeting with a writing wraith left James with the ability to throw words together and occasionally make some coherent sense. An avowed geek, nerd and whatever other names people choose to throw at him, he’s written for the likes of Total Film, SFX and DVD Review. James can currently be located living in Los Angeles, though not for the weather, as he’s scared of the sun. When he's not pouring nonsense from his brain on to a page for all to read, he continues his singularly, and so far, unsuccessful attempt to get Angelina Jolie to adopt him.
Paul Arendt
Paul Arendt
Paul is a lickspittle running dog of the capitalist press, scraping a living by churning out poisonous, misanthropic bile in exchange for money. He has written for the Guardian, the Financial Times, the BBC, Filmfour, Teletext and Total Film.  In his spare time he plays poker and eats biscuits. That’s right, simultaneously.
Jonathan Crocker
Jonathan Crocker
Jonathan is a freelance journalist who previously worked at Total Film, Men’s Health and Time Out. He writes about film, men’s lifestyle, health, travel and sport, also contributing to the likes of i-D magazine, ShortList and Little White Lies. Despite spending too much of his time in books and dark rooms, Jonathan’s other life-passion is snowboarding: as he writes this, he wishes he was up a mountain instead. Jonathan is probably the only person on Earth whose ideal day would be split between riding powder and rewatching Carl Theodor Dreyer movies. He can usually be found in central London’s darkest speakeasies at 3am.
